Who are we?

Dennis McMahon (founder) is the driver and will be the primary contact point with the Mayor’s in the early stages. Support staff including Shamini Bhaskaran (Member Services) and Kartik (Operations) will be assisting while we ramp up membership value; the team will then bring in expertise in various disciplines of project management, engineering, system design and more to build the ASEAN CleanTech network. We work closely with Matthias Gelber (the GreenMan of “GreenTech” and Sustainability); as you will discover- CleanTech has some of it’s roots in GreenTech and may branch into BioTech too;

Focus of ASEAN CleanTech Network (ACN)

ACN is focused on identifying, scoping and solving large ASEAN city challenges for ASEAN large and growing cities (cities above 1M population and growing fast) – and bringing ASEAN CleanTech companies and solutions in to help solve those problems. This ACN Focus List includes the 10 Capital cities of the ASEAN Members and 20+ other fast growing ASEAN cities.

Our primary “product” will be the “City Challenges and Priorities Report”, which will define the priorities for the City Leaders. As we expand, individual CleanTech Clusters will form under the ACN banner, in both cities and regions in ASEAN countries. ACN will then provide support and secretariat functions for those Clusters.
